Carlisle Gifts in Walnut Creek and Dutch Valley Gifts in Sugarcreek welcome the community to their annual open house weekend, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 5-7.
The Carlisle Gifts and Dutch Valley Gifts open houses are community and family traditions. This year’s theme, Traditional Trimmings, Timeless Treasures, features floral demonstrations, unique wreath designs, holiday décor, door prizes, refreshments and special sales.
“The excitement of the festive weekend has made the open house a wonderful tradition for many of our regular shoppers and inn guests,” said Marlene Brink, Carlisle Gifts manager. “There are always wonderful refreshments, special discounts and everything is decorated and lit up for the holidays.”
At Carlisle Gifts in Walnut Creek, an enchanting elf display will set the perfect backdrop for children’s Christmas photos on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, from 1-4 p.m., Keith Allen Ball, a country, gospel and bluegrass singer and guitar player from Tallmadge, will perform for guests. His latest CD, Until We Meet Again, will also be available for sale at Carlisle Gifts.
