At Premier Carriage House Cottages you can find your home away from home in one of seven luxurious private cottages available year-round for a night, a weekend or longer if you like.
Located in the rolling hills of working farms in Ohio’s beautiful Amish Country, Premier Carriage House Cottages is just minutes from a host of attractions that include art galleries, craft shops, golf courses, cheese shops, wineries and horseback riding.
You might choose to dine in one of many local restaurants that feature home style Amish cooking, gourmet cuisine or something with an ethnic flair. Premier Carriage House Cottages include well-appointed kitchens for those that wish to prepare their own meals with local ingredients at the peak of freshness and regional items that celebrate life at a slower pace. Each cottage is equipped with an outdoor grill for the convenience of guests.
No need to bring cookware or dishes, it is all provided to make your stay as convenient as possible.
Each of the seven cottages at Premier Carriage House Cottages is decorated in a unique style that will charm the couple in search of a romantic getaway, a group of college girlfriends that have been apart for far too long, or a family looking for much needed down time.
The outdoor shared common area includes a spectacular heated pool with a waterfall, an eight-person spa, comfortable seating and a gazebo for those seeking a shady area. Surrounded by a rock garden and beds of native plants, outdoor lighting allows poolside enjoyment even after the sun goes down. The pool is open from Memorial Day until Oct. 10 to better serve guests.
Upon arrival at Premier Carriage House Cottages, guests are greeted with a delightful welcome basket filled with various snacks, also a nice selection of assorted teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Room extras are available and include such amenities as champagne, truffles and scattered rose petals, massage, wine and cheese platters, fresh cut flowers and cakes for celebrations.
Each of the seven cottages includes luxury bedding and towels to make your stay more comfortable. A fireplace adds warmth and charm and cathedral ceilings give guests a feeling of spaciousness in the cozy cottages. A two-person spa will melt your worries away as you unwind in your private home away from home. Sink into an overstuffed chair and enjoy the quiet of the country.
Relax with music or a movie; all cottages are equipped with satellite television, DVD, VCR, CD player and a radio. Guests may borrow DVDs or video tapes from the innkeeper’s collection or bring their own.
Breakfast can be enjoyed at the main office where guests can make their own delicious waffles and top them with strawberries, powdered sugar, butter or maple syrup. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and oatmeal are available along with a variety of teas and robust coffee with flavored creamers. Breakfast is open every weekend January through April, but the breakfast area is closed during the week. A breakfast basket is available when the area is closed. June through November, the breakfast area is open during the week with a Sunday breakfast basket. In December, Monday through Friday and Sunday, the breakfast area is closed, but a breakfast basket is available, and on Saturday, the breakfast area is open.
Check in at Premier Carriage House Cottages is between 2 and 3 p.m. each day.
Guests wishing to check in later can make special arrangements to do so when they make their reservation.
