Mooney Warther’s life! Tour the caboose and the old telegraph
office and have your picture taken on the push-pull car! Stop
by a local winery for wine sampling and snack before heading for
home. Choose Raven’s Glenn or Breitenbach.

Enjoy a candle carving demonstration at an Amish candle company,
gift for everyone. Enjoy a feast at either one of our fine Amish

and Amish Bakery, everyone receives bread. Choice of Heini’s
Cheese and Kauffman Bakery or Guggisberg Cheese and Miller Bakery.
Walnut Creek Cheese for ice cream, best deli in the area…bring
coolers! End the day at Dutch Creek Foods Meat Market.
Dreamsville, USA!
Visit the beautifully restored Dennison Depot, the last home
front Canteen from WWII! Lots of great wartime and railroad memorabilia
along with newly restored rail car tours. Complimentary cookie
in replica of lunch sack given to soldiers as they came through
Dennison. Find out more how the town got its name, Dreamsville
USA! Take a step back in time the days of the Christian Delaware
Indians and learn about pioneer life and times during post revolutionary
war times. Have lunch cooked over an open fire and make and take
your own Indian craft. Lunch can also be included at Dennison
Depot, your choice. Visit the USS Radford Museum in Newcomerstown
for one of the best keep secrets in unique wartime museums, and
walk across the street to the Temperance Tavern and Cy Young Museum.
Enjoy some wine tasting and beautiful scenery along the Tuscarawas
River at the Raven’s Glenn Winery before heading for home.
Eating Your Way Through Amish Country! (late April-Oct)
Enjoy candy dipping at Grandma’s Alpine Homestead with
owners Lee Ann and Ann! Fun and interactive, recipes and sampling!
Visit Miller Bakery and pick out a pastry of your choice. Enjoy
a fondue party at Chalet in the Valley and walk over to Gugisberg
Cheese, home of the Original Baby Swiss! Stop by an Amish home
to sample specialty salads and learn how to make peanut butter
whip. Enjoy a buggy ride and pickle sampling at Yoder’s
Amish home along with a leisurely buggy ride in the meadow. Return
to Grandma’s for awesome buffet before heading for home!
Home For The Holidays! (Nov. and Dec)
Enjoy a Victorian Country Christmas in Historic Downtown Millersburg.
Have lunch with an old fashioned Santa at the Hotel Millersburg,
second oldest operating hotel in Ohio. Enjoy a carriage ride through
downtown, and treats and gifts for everyone throughout the day.
Visit the gorgeous Victorian Mansion decked out for the holidays.
Cheese and bakery stops before heading for home.
Cambridge Dickens Christmas! (Late Nov. and Dec.)
Visit historic downtown Cambridge, Ohio, and enjoy the village
decked out in the Charles Dickens theme as you enjoy some free
time in the village for shopping. Stop by a Taste of Ohio for
a make and take holiday craft. Enjoy a bountiful feast at Theo’s
Restaurant and a treat from Kennedy’s Bakery to take home.
Go back in time to a Miners Holiday aboard the Byesville Scenic
Railroad and learn how the miners celebrated the holidays.
Hoboes and Hoagies (May-October)
Follow the footsteps of travelers from another ear! Enjoy a living
history tour of Roscoe Village, a restored 1800’s canal
town. Costumed guides will take back to the booming days of trade
on the Ohio and Erie Canal. Lunch on own and shopping time in
the village before departing for a one hour canal boat ride on
a restored portion of the original tow path. Experience what life
was like for hoagies (canal boat workers) as they carved their
notch in history! We will stop at the Usual Junction Gift shop
made out of restored railroad cars which features a selection
of gourmet and Amish food items and over 2,000 wedding and evening
gowns! Wine sampling at Raven’s Glenn Winery is also included,
then it’s off to the famed Warther Carving Museum for a
private tour of the grounds, caboose, button house, museum, and
knife shop. Enjoy a candlelight dinner in the Ivory Room surrounded
by the priceless carvings before departing home.
Days of Wine and Roses
(Best late May-October)
Enjoy the beautiful Swiss Gardens at Warthers and learn more
about how they were designed. Visit the button house, view the
priceless carvings, and watch the family create the finest kitchen
cutlery in the world! Lunch at an Amish home and learn more about
their garden techniques. Visit Baltic Mill which features a great
array of stone ground cornmeal, flours, spices, bulk foods, and
a huge room with accents for your deck and gardens! Shopping time
in either Berlin or the Holmes County Amish Country Flea Market.
End the day with samples at Breitenbach Winery!

an Amish Home or one of our fine Amish Style Restaurants, cider
sampling and apples from Hillcrest Orchard, and ice cream at Walnut
