Guggisberg Cheese
Back in 1947, Alfred Guggisberg ventured to the United States from Switzerland to pursue his dream of cheese making. Founding the Doughty Valley Cheese Company, now known as Guggisberg Cheese, the entrepreneur experimented within his trade to create a tastier Swiss cheese, and now, world-renowned product – Baby Swiss. Famous for its smaller holes and less-biting flavor, Baby Swiss is a true product of Ohio’s Amish Country. In recent years, Guggisberg Cheese has won the coveted Grand Champion Cheese title and continues the tradition that Alfred started so many decades ago.
