Happy Turkey Month! Can you really believe it? It’s time to buy a new calendar. Seems like it wasn’t long ago that I made New Years Resolutions!! One thing on my list was to become a “Big Sister” and in July I did! My little sis is a cute little blonde 7 year-old. We’ve done some fun things together and of course I’ve made her things! I want to make her a flannel throw sometime yet before long.

Other exciting news is that I scheduled my spring classes and in my hands I now have the form to fill out to be accepted in the nursing program! Hip, Hip Hooray!! I want to jump with joy and I want to cry. What would Mom have to say!? Chemistry is not too bad; it took a while for the light bulb to come on. I have a “B” in it, so I’m happy with that. Human Growth & Development is fun. I really like that. I have an “A” in it. So now I just have to keep plugging along a little more, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

We’ve been busy in the store too, with all the beautiful colored trees; everyone is out and about yet before the snow flies. Now is a good time to replenish your stash and get those Christmas gifts done. We have a great selection of Christmas fabric yet.  We have gotten a lot of new books in this month! So you can plan all your winter projects!!

The juices really get flowing with the coordinates...swirling Klimt steam, multi dots, Gaudi mosaics, and more.
