Warthers Carvings and Gardens
Come see an incredible display of hand carvings by master carver Ernest "Mooney" Warther. These hand carvings have been appraised by the Smithsonian Institution as "priceless works of art." The Warther Museum showcases 64 ebony, ivory and walnut train carvings. You can even watch knives being made! It has been a Warther tradition since 1902, now being passed on to the 3rd and 4th generations. Tours of the knife factory, gardens, etc are available. Keep in mind that the knife museum is the perfect place for your next corporate event. You can even plan your wedding at the beautiful gazebo located in the Swiss gardens. |
