Wayne County Tuba Christmas concert
Local musicians gather every year to celebrate the holiday season for the always popular A Wayne County Tuba Christmas concert. Many area baritone, tuba, and euphonium players join and perform at the festive caroling concert.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at noon, in the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center. The performance is free and open to the public.
Registration for musicians is from 9 to 10 a.m. Rehearsal is at 10 a.m. and Tuba Christmas caroling books, if needed, are available for $15.
Before caroling, be sure to stop by and enjoy the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast sponsored by the Wooster High School music students. Serving in the WHS Commons begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 10, and ages 2 and under are free. Tickets are available from any WHS music student or at the door.
