What are some of the details that set our furniture apart (in addition to the solid wood construction and custom stains)?
• Individually hand-fitted drawers and doors
• Dove-tailed or tongue-and-groove joints
• Reinforced inside corners and edges with wood blocks screwed and glued in place
• Drawers with half-inch solid wood sides and backs, sanded and finished on all sides to protect delicate garments.
• Center wood-on-wood glides for quiet, smooth drawer operationIn addition, our in-house finishing shop craftsmen meticulously finish each piece using the following steps…
• Three rounds of sanding on each surface – feel the difference!
• Two coats of stain for rich color (sanded between coats)
• Final finish coat of clear catalyzed lacquer to improve durability
