Wooster Symphony Orchestra
The Wooster Symphony Orchestra will perform a benefit holiday concert Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m., in McGaw Chapel on the College of Wooster campus. The biennial concert is a benefit to raise money for music achievement awards to College of Wooster orchestra members.
The orchestra, under the direction of Jeffery Lindberg, along with local vocalist Jeanne Miller, the Wayne County Choral Union, under the direction of Ned Brooks, and The Wooster Singers, under the direction of Lisa Yozviak, will present familiar seasonal music, popular and jazz, to ring in the holiday season.
Tickets are available at Buehler’s Milltown, Town Market and Orrville, The Wooster Book Company and Florence O. Wilson Bookstore (College of Wooster) for a $10 adult donation or $5 student donation. Individuals living outside the Wooster area may call 330-264-9371 to purchase tickets by mail or receive more information. Reserved group seating tickets are available by mail at the number listed.
